The City of New Smyrna Beach will not be rolling over existing New Smyrna Beach Parking Passes for 2022, and all currently issued parking permits will expire on Thursday, December 31.
The New Smyrna Beach Parking Pass allows citizens to park and walk down to the beach at the City’s five beachfront parking lots - not including Bethune Beach Beachfront Park. Drivers who would like to drive or park directly on the beach must purchase a pass from Volusia County Government.
Each of the five beachfront lots has an electronic kiosk that accepts credit cards (Mastercard and Visa) and cash for those without a pass to pay the daily parking rate of $20 per day. Change will not be provided for cash payments.
Permits are free for Volusia residents and property owners. To apply for a 2022 Parking Pass, visit www.parknsb.com.
Applicants will need to upload their Driver’s License, registration for each vehicle, and proof of Volusia County residency or property ownership. Volusia County tax bills, Rental/Lease agreement, or six consecutive utility bills will work as accepted forms.
If you cannot apply online or need help, you may bring documents to the New Smyrna Beach Police Department off Industrial Park Avenue in New Smyrna Beach. The department is open Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
