27th Avenue Beachfront Park
Please note:
playground construction work is currently underway at 27th Avenue Beachfront Park. During this time, parking lot access will be from 28th Avenue and access from the lot to the beach and boardwalk will be through the basketball court. The city will maintain 90-100 parking spaces for public use and pay parking will continue to be enforced for unregistered vehicles.
Catch a sunrise over the Atlantic Ocean from 27th Avenue Beachfront Park. Amenities at the 3.4-acre park include a boardwalk, basketball and racquetball courts, picnic area and pavilion, fishing and swimming on the beach, restrooms and a children's playground. The oceanfront park is at the intersection of 27th Avenue and A1A/Atlantic Avenue on New Smyrna Beach's south beach area. There is a $20 parking fee from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Parking is free for Volusia County residents with a City of New Smyrna Beach Parking Pass, which you can
apply for here. Overnight parking not permitted.
