Detwiler Park

This site, less than a half-mile from the New Smyrna Beach shoreline, was donated to the city in the 1930s. In the late '60s, various local associations requested that it be developed into a community recreation area and it underwent renovations 2007. Geared toward tennis enthusiasts, this small park offers tennis courts that do not require reservations. Tournaments must be scheduled with the city.
