Homeless Services Meeting

If you have concerns or questions about the current homelessness situation in New Smyrna Beach (NSB), on Thursday, March 14 at 5 p.m. there will be a meeting in the James W. Hathaway Commission Chambers. Chief Feldman, Community Outreach Officer Ghica, and NSB Mental Health Clinician Kimberly Jensen will be at the commission chambers to speak about what the city and the Police Department are doing to address the homeless population in New Smyrna Beach. They will be discussing current programs, highlighting partnerships with local providers, and the First Step Shelter. There will also be a question and answer segment for those in attendance.
