The City of Daytona Beach has announced that the grand opening of the Veteran’s Museum and Education Center at its new location will open to the public at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 4, at 302 Vermont Avenue in Daytona Beach, and the public is invited to celebrate. The Veterans Museum and Education Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about the importance of our men and women who served in the Armed Forces of the United States.
According to a release, the renovated facility is full of historical and educational pieces that tell the story and honor our U.S. Armed Forces. Museum guests will be able to learn about and view items dating as far back as the Spanish-American War.
Parking for the Veterans Museum and Education Center is available across the street from the Center, at the corner of Peninsula Drive and Vermont Avenue.
