City engineers will hold a presentation for Corbin Park residents on stormwater & drainage study findings and proposed flood-reducing infrastructure improvements at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, in the Hidden Pines Clubhouse off Shorewood Ln.

Consultant Tetra Tech and city engineers have reviewed the topics they will speak on in the presentation, such as existing stormwater studies, resident feedback, and surveyor field data. They have also used LiDAR technology to develop solutions to reduce flooding, quicken recovery times after rain, and meet water quality requirements. Some solutions include inlets, piping ditches, upsizing pipes, and backflow prevention.

Residents in the Corbin Park area, from State Road 44 to the north, Turnbull Creek to the east, Magnolia Drive to the south, and a canal east of Wild Orange Drive, are free to attend the presentation.

Send any comments and questions to City Engineer Kyle Fegley at kfegley@cityofnsb.com or (386)410-2811 if you can’t attend.
